This Privacy Policy describes how Monk Mode ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Monk Mode collects minimal data necessary to provide its core features:

• Account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication.
• Session data: Focus session durations, streaks, and history are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to Firebase Firestore under your user account.
• Focus room data: If you use Focus Together rooms, your display name and session status are shared with other room participants.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the app's features (focus timer, streaks, session history)
• To enable the Focus Together multiplayer feature
• To display your progress statistics within the app

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore). We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Monk Mode uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase – Authentication and database
• Google Sign-In – Optional sign-in method

Children's Privacy

Monk Mode is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
